Am I eligible to enter?
If you are a self-taught artist or an art school graduate based in Hong Kong then you're eligible.
What mediums can I submit?
Anything other than video works or large-scale installations. General rule of thumb is that if it can be hung from a wall or placed on a plinth you're good to go. Dimension limit 200 x 200cm
What about if I don't live in Hong Kong?
Unfortunately the prize is only open to artists based in Hong Kong.
What if I'm a self-taught artist?
You are still edligible.
What happens when I get shortlisted?
The shortlisted artists will have their artworks exhibited for six months in the beautiful lobby of The Hari Hotel. So do make sure whatever work you submit is available for exhibition.
What if my work sells?
Contrary to our usual commission model, we won't take a penny out of it and you'll get all the proceeds.

The Hari Art Prize is free to enter. The winner and two runners up will both be awarded prizes.

The Award Ceremony takes place at the fabulous Hari Hotel in Hong Kong.
All shortlisted artists work will be exhibited at the hotel for six months. On the night of the awards, artists, their guests, collectors and press will enjoy champagne, cocktails and canapés.
